Focus and Escope

The People, Society & Management Review publishes original research that investigates the interactions between human, social, and organizational issues, spanning theoretical, empirical, normative, and methodological studies. We value research that contributes to the development, testing, and improvement of theories, aiming to deepen the understanding of relevant human and social issues and their relationships with organizations.

We recommend that all articles address issues related to people and organizational relationships in a substantial way. In addition, we hope that the studies will also explore the social role of organizations, including their impacts and interconnections.

Relevant subjects related to human and social issues in organizations include corporate governance, corporate social performance, business-government relations, social entrepreneurship, dignity of organizations, conscious business, sustainable consumption, ESG, corporate social and environmental performance, social and environmental management, corporate social responsibility, corporate sustainability, social innovation, business ethics, dignity in organizations, diversity, organizational culture, organizational behavior, human values in organizations and human resource management, as well as stakeholder relations.

The People, Society & Management Review accepts papers submitted in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. In the case of submissions in Portuguese and Spanish, there must be an English version (after completion of the evaluation process).
