Governance
The People Society & Management Review (PSM Review) operates in accordance with a governance system aligned with editorial best practices. This approach aims to ensure that all instances of this governance - Editorial Board, Scientific Committee and Editor - consistently seek to ensure the highest ethical principles and full transparency throughout the editorial process.
In order to promote excellence and quality at all stages of PSM Review's governance system, each body – the Editorial Board, the Scientific Committee and the Editor – plays key roles in the content review and publication process, and the clear and precise definition of their duties is crucial to avoid ambiguities and ensure that all parties involved are fully aware of their obligations.
The Editorial Board assumes a role of guiding the strategic direction of the publication, covering aspects such as suggestions for improvements in editorial policies, issues related to the quality of publications, ethical aspects and editorial management. The composition of the Board should be diverse, comprising renowned experts in the field, who should have a holistic view of the topics covered by the PSM Review.
In turn, the Scientific Committee is in charge of conducting a rigorous evaluation of the papers submitted to the journal, ensuring the scientific quality of the articles. To fulfill this function, this committee must be composed of highly qualified and impartial researchers, who act as references, in their respective areas, in order to maintain a high academic and editorial standard.
The Editor is responsible for coordinating all editorial activities, working closely with the Editorial Board and the Scientific Committee. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Editor to ensure that all stages of the review and publication process are conducted with impartiality, integrity and rigor, preserving the reputation and credibility of PSM Review.
The emphasis on the observance of the highest ethical principles is of utmost importance, as it contributes to integrity and trust in the results presented. Transparency also plays a crucial role, allowing authors, reviewers, and readers to have clear and open access to relevant information about the editorial process.
Thus, by emphasizing the attributions and responsibilities of each body, the journal seeks to achieve a high standard of governance, which, in turn, translates into a publication that brings together works of excellence, supported by transparent and ethical processes, strengthening its reputation and contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge in its area of expertise.
In order to be published, articles submitted to the PSM Review must be aligned with the basic guidelines for integrity in scientific activity established by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) - https://www.gov.br/cnpq/pt-br/composicao/comissao-de-integridade
